NASA Stennis Space Center (SSC) conducted its annual Honor Awards on September 10, 2019. SaiTech, Inc. is the Information Technology Services Prime Contractor for NASA at SSC At the event, the SaiTech Team received twenty-two individual and Team awards. Highlights of these awards include:
Mr. Timothy Jones of SaiTech has served NASA with dedicated passion and expertise for more than 28 years. Mr. Jones was a recipient of the Exceptional Public Service Medal. Across three decades, his impressive breadth of expertise and innovations have elevated SSC Information Technology to the exceptional level of excellence, consistency and modernization the Center maintains today.
Mr. Timothy Stiglets was the recipient of a Silver Achievement Medal. Mr. Stiglets’ leadership has resulted in significant accomplishments that are transitioning SSC from a manual, paper process to an efficient, automated solution. His contributions are preparing Center systems to support the next generation of propulsion testing at SSC.
A NASA Silver Group Achievement Award was presented to the XSP Project AR-22 Test Team. Deanna Dartez was a SaiTech participant on this Silver Group Achievement Award.
Ms. Rhonda Lavigne received the Director’s Certification of Appreciation for outstanding contributions to the Stennis Space Center’s Audit Program, contributing to the Center maintaining both ISO registration and VPP certification.
SaiTech Team Members also received a NASA Group Achievement Award for support to the successful rollout of Microsoft Office 365. The team provided outstanding service through extensive planning efforts, multiple outreach endeavors, early adopter/pilot testing activities and migrations support services.

The Safety and Mission Assurance Crystal Ball Team was also recognized witha NASA Group Achievement Award. The ultimate goal is for the SMA Crystal Ball to predict future safety incidents based on past data to potentially reduce Center incidents while assisting Center Management to best allocate Center Resources.
Other SaiTech employees have received recognition for significant contributions to NASAs Mission. Over the past 15 months, two SaiTech employees were selected to receive the Space Flight Awareness Silver Snoopy Award – Bertha Jackson and Tim Jones. During the same period, two SaiTech employees were selected as a Space Flight Awareness Launch Honorees – Philip Geraci and Laura Pair.
